Local Vancouver artist Andrew Pommier is showing a new series of paintings at Vancouver Special from September 1 – October 1, 2009.
Trained at OCAD in Toronto, he is known locally and internationally for his whimsical characters, and sometimes dark narratives. His work is recognizable from areas as diverse as art galleries, skateboard graphics, as well as laptop sleeves he designed for Electricbaby. These recent works are from 2007 through 2009, and this is the first time they have been displayed in Vancouver.
