Why is it Special?

Made for use with the Plissé Toaster (sold separately), these Plissé Toaster Tongs allow you to safely remove your slices of toast. The wide handles provide a firm grip and are characteristic of the Plissé collection, distinguished by vertical indentations that evoke the pleats of an haute couture dress.  

Alessi’s Plissé toaster boasts a dynamic, sculptural design inspired by the worlds of fashion and architecture. Designed by Michele De Lucchi, the toaster has a unique surface texture that resembles pleated fabric – it is simply too beautiful to be kept hidden in the kitchen cabinet!

You can choose the toasting level from six different options. The toaster also has a defrost function for thawing frozen bread and a reheat function that heats the bread to the desired temperature in 30 seconds. The “Bagel” function only heats the bread on one side.

The Plissé toaster's detachable crumb tray makes cleaning the toaster easy, while the non-slip base ensures that the appliance stays firmly in place during use. Handy toaster racks are also available separately; with them, bread slices can be removed from the toaster more easily.
